Does the Zima Go need water?Updated 8 months ago
No, the Zima Go should not be filled with water at any time, as this can cause it to break. The Zima Go has a different cleaning mechanism to the Dental pod: instead of using ultrasonic cavitation in water, it uses Ultra-Violet light to kill bacteria, and therefore does not require any water. This results in a less comprehensive clean than the Dental pod, but it importantly kills bacteria that cause oral hygiene issues such as bad breath and infections, whilst on the go. Small amounts of moisture that may be on your appliance when you place it in the Zima Go should not cause any damage to your device.
